Analisis Faktor-Faktor Keberhasilan Pelatihan

Considerable evidence suggests that a substantial part of organizationsí investment in training is often wasted due to poor learning transfer-both horizontal transfer and vertical transfer. Thus, such training is said to be ineffective. Currently, effective training is not only widely acknowledged to be a new paradigm of training but also the paramount concern of organizational training initiatives. This study investigated the effects of training factors, such as trainers, training materials, methods, facilities, and individual characteristics (self-efficacy, goal orientation, and training motivation) on training effectiveness. It was also aimed at analyzing the managersí opinions on the training need analysis (TNA) in relation to the training effectiveness. The result reveals that the training factors significantly influence training effectiveness, and TNA conducted by the managers had a positive correlation with training effectiveness.
